Job Description
**SUMMARY:**
The Human Resources Intern will directly assist the Human Resources Department with a wide range of projects related to employee benefits, HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding, record maintenance and auditing.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
The Human Resources Intern will assist with:
β’ Employee benefits issues related to plan renewal and open enrollment, benefits enrollment and termination, auditing employee benefits data, and the customer service aspect of benefits oversight.
β’ Steps in the recruiting and hiring process, including:
β’ posting job openings
β’ reviewing resumes
β’ conducting telephone and in-person interviews
β’ making job offers
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** :
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
**COMPETENCY:**
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
