We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Human Resources (HR) Manager to support a public sector organization in Portland, Oregon. This Long-term Contract position will lead day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR systems support. The ideal candidate brings a well-rounded background in human resources management, experience working within public sector, and hands-on knowledge of Workday ERP in a complex organizational setting.
Responsibilities:
β’ Oversee core human resources activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, policy guidance, records management, and day-to-day staff support.
