We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations in Charleston, South Carolina. This contract position has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative coordination with employee support in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong Excel and reporting capabilities, along with working knowledge of HRIS systems and leave of absence processes.
Responsibilities:
β’ Prepare regular reports and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to track HR activity.
β’ Assist with onboarding activities by coordinating new employee documentation, background checks, and orientation-related tasks.
β’ Respond to routine employee questions and provide administrative support related to HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
