Job Description
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations for Howmet Wheel Systemsβ Barberton campus, partnering closely with supervisors, employees, and plant leadership. This role focuses on employee relations, recruiting support, onboarding, HR administration, and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures. This is an on-site role requiring regular presence on the production floor and strong relationship β building skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Provide dayβtoβday HR support to employees and supervisors across all shifts
+ Offer guidance to supervisors on corrective action and disciplinary processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
+ Assist with employee relations issues, including documentation, coaching, and policy interpretation
+ Support hourly and salaried recruiting efforts, including job postings, screening, scheduling, and onboarding.
