Summary About the Position: As chief of the section and Brigade S-1 Officer (Adjutant), monitors, coordinates, and directs the effective and efficient administration of the full spectrum of human resources areas to ensure compliance with established policies, directives, and operating procedures. Responsibilities Coordinates and supervises the conduct of appropriate orientation briefing during in and out-processing. Reviews in and outgoing correspondence for adequacy of subject matter, distribution and proper format. Reviews all changes to regulations that affects the S-1 Section and recommends necessary changes to local policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance.
