Job Description
Join Queen's University as a Human Resources Advisor, focusing on the Queen’s Renew Program. This 12-month position emphasizes enhancing professional services across the university community.
As part of the Client Service Team, the HR Advisor engages in all facets of HR support, ensuring effective employee relations and compliance with legislative requirements. You will collaborate with department representatives and help implement HR best practices, promoting equity and inclusion within recruitment and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as primary HR contact for employment issues
• Offer consultative advice on HR policies
• Facilitate full recruitment processes for departments
• Manage employee relations and conflict resolution
• Oversee job evaluation and salary administration
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in HR, Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years HR experience in a unionized setting
• Preferred CHRP certification
