Job Description
Duties:
- Provide oversight and guidance to the Housekeeping team
- Daily handovers and briefings with Housekeeping team
- Ensure hotel public areas are maintained and look impeccable
- Daily maintenance reporting and following up
- Staff rostering and leave planning
- Plans, prepares and executes on-going training initiatives for the Housekeeping team
- Monitor and control inventories for operating equipment, linen, stationary, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms to ensure par stocks are maintained and costs are controlled
Requirements:
- Grade 12 & a Diploma in Hospitality
- Valid driverβs license
- High level of physical endurance
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Housekeeping Management role within a 5* luxury property
- Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal
