Position Overview:

To maintain assigned areas in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition by performing work assignments in an effective and prescribed manner. To respond to special requests for cleaning or assistance in order to maintain the overall smooth flow of work as well as a clean and orderly condition of the hospital.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Must be able to speak English as well as to understand and follow directions.

Knowledge of material safety data sheets, cleaning chemicals, solutions, and procedures as relates to a health facility.

Must be willing to train on new and varied equipment such as extractors, buffers, etc.

EXPERIENCE

Experience as an Environmental Services Technician in a health facility is desired.
