Course Description

The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint‑Lambert requires the services of an hourly instructor to teach the course INTRODUCTION TO RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE (221‑201‑MA). This introductory course provides students with an overview of the professional environment in which they will be working. Students will understand the workings of the brokerage industry and examine the activities, responsibilities, tasks, and conditions of practice of their future profession. They will measure their entrepreneurial potential, grasp the realities of self‑employment, analyze the real estate market and its dynamics, and draft a business plan to define the direction they will follow. In line with their professional aspirations, this document will give life to their project and serve as a springboard to launch their career by transforming their thoughts into concrete actions.
