Job Description

Jamaica Bay Inn, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is looking for a part-time Host/Hostess to join our team! We are looking for an energetic and cheerful Host/Hostess to greet and acknowledge all arriving guests and escort guests to their tables. The Host/Hostess will also be responsible for taking reservations and maintaining reservation book.

Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests

  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.

  • Cheerfully and courteously greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating at tables; present menus and extend congenialities ensuring restaurant’s standards of service at all times

  • Take, record and confirm restaurant reservations/cancellation as specified in departmental standards.
