Job Description

:This position uses extensive knowledge and expertise to work alongside and collaborates with Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Registered Nurses (RN) and Intermountain Physician Advisors to review complex facility encounters and assign International Classification of Diseases ICD-10 and Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) codes for claims concurrently while a patient is in a hospital. It ensures accurate capture of appropriate codes in support of the provision of value-based care by Intermountain Healthcare to appropriate populations. It ensures compliance and accurate submission of publicly reported data for all payers.

It assigns ICD-10 and DRG codes to identify key populations for care delivery improvement and accurate data for patient populations.
