The Lakes Home Care is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide who speaks creole to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting patients with and per-plan of care, the following:

  • Baths, Oral hygiene, Dressing and undressing, Toileting activities, feeding, etc.

  • Taking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)

  • Safe transfer and ambulation techniques

  • Exercise according to the plan of care

  • Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)
