Job Description
Boston Public Schools (BPS) seeks qualified individuals to provide at-home instruction services on as needed basis to students participating in the Home and Hospital Instruction Program. Tutors will be matched appropriately to best fit the needs of individual students.
REPORTS TO: Home and Hospital Instruction, Program Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Thoroughly complete Scholastic Records for each student tutored (i.e. course name, chapter, unit name, and accurate description of assignments).
+ Confirm tutoring assignments within 24 hours of receiving initial phone call/email.
+ Contact parent/guardian to introduce self and arrange session times and location.
+ Provide tutoring schedule to Home and Hospital Instruction Program office.
+ Pick up a packet from Home and Hospital office before beginning to tutor, and contact stude...
