About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the school's Communication & Interaction unit. The Team within the unit will support children with speech, language and communication needs. The unit is situated on the school site and is part of the school community. The children within the unit will benefit from an enriched and needs- specific learning environment but will also spend time learning within the mainstream setting. This small-scale approach gives pupils with speech, language and communication needs a real opportunity to thrive and achieve their potential.

In this role, you will support students in their learning and development by promoting academic progress, encouraging independence, and nurturing their emotional, social, and physical wellbeing.
