Summary:
The Lab Aide receives specimens from Operating Room (OR) and Breast Center for analysis by performing data entry, login of patient demographics and clinical information into computer systems and accessions specimen containers for the PA. The Lab Aide assists in histology department with slide distribution, inventory, and stocking, cleaning, and organization of the department.

+ Specimen Handling: Receives, verifies, labels, and enters patient/specimen data into the lab system (LIS), building a case and setting up specimens for PA to gross.
