Description of Position

Performs all standard histologic techniques to
prepare quality histologic slides to be examined by the Pathologist.

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Baccalaureate degree from a regionally-accredited college/university with a combination of 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of biology and chemistry, and one (1) year full-time acceptable experience in a histopathology laboratory (under the supervision of a certified Pathologist in Anatomic Pathology) preferred. Previous experience in histotechnology preferred; or any combination of education and experience...
