Histology Technician

Location: Detroit, MI 48202

Job Details:

• Duration: 14 Weeks

• Shift: 5x8-Hour Evenings

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

• Hours: 40 Hours per Week

• Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of Histology experience required

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree required

• HT or HTL Certification preferred

• BLS Certification required

• Strong laboratory and tissue processing experience

Responsibilities:

• Cut, embed, stain, coverslip, and label tissue specimens

• Perform routine histology procedures according to standard protocols

• Maintain laboratory instruments, reagents, and supplies

• Record quality control and maintenance documentation
