Job Description

Histology Medical Technologist I

Labcorp is seeking a Histology Medical Technologist I to join our team in Singapore.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform histological testing encompassing sample accessioning, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and re-embedding of tissue specimens.
  • Perform routine H&E stain, special stains as well as immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in-situ hybridization (ISH) stains according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform slide scanning and macrodissection as required according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Evaluate sample acceptability based on established guidelines and process specimens for analysis in accordance with established written procedures.
  • Accurately evaluate test results according to standardized protocols.
  • Maintain quality control measures during testing to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Document corrective an...
