Role: Highways Design Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic early career highways engineer to join our clients’ dynamic team in Wigan. The ideal candidate will have between 1 and 3 years of post-qualification experience in an highways/civils focused role, preferably in engineering consultancy.

Their highways team works alongside several other engineering and environmental professionals within the company, including civil and structural engineers, drainage engineers, geotechnical engineers, planners, archaeologists, arboriculturists, landscape architects and ecologists. Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team is desirable but not essential. Project work will be varied, and there will be a strong focus on renewable energy, infrastructure and residential schemes as well as other commercial development projects.
