Overview

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for night trunking work at Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge, Preston.

Shift Details

Shifts start at 18:00 Monday to Friday and are always one drop in Birmingham with no loading or unloading.

Applicants must be available to start work immediately; the position is open to those who can begin straight away.

Qualifications

• UK issued Class 1 driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.


• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.


• No more than 6 points on licence.


• Reliability, punctuality, tidy appearance and vehicle upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Trunking to Birmingham.


• Daily walk‑round and vehicle checks, reporting any damage or defects.


• Correct use of tachograph and adherence to driver hours.
