Job Purpose

To drive LGV/HGV vehicles and deliver goods and services efficiently and safely, maintaining company assets and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Check the safety and condition of the vehicle at the start of each day; record condition and report faults promptly.
• Care for the company's assets and use them according to manufacturer's recommendations.
• Ensure vehicles are securely loaded, restrained and within legal weight limits.
• Drive efficiently, productively and within traffic law, keeping health and safety paramount.
• Represent the company professionally at all times and report any matters affecting business prospects.
• Assist in yard and other duties when not driving or on legally required breaks.
