Job Description

The Section of Hepatology is one of 18 academic sections in the Department of Internal Medicine that provides patient care, undergraduate, postgraduate, continuing education, and research.

The successful candidate, based at the Health Sciences Center, will have an academic appointment within the Section of Hepatology with a start date of July 1, 2026, or negotiable based on availability. Rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The faculty members of the Section of Hepatology form a group of academic hepatologists in a busy and expanding liver disease program. The Section is committed to the provision of clinical services and to advancing undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education in Hepatology.
