Locum Opportunity Hematology/Oncology Connecticut
Seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum assignment starting as soon as credentialed. Assignment Details
* Length: 6 months to 1 year, with potential extension
* Setting: Inpatient consults and outpatient clinic
* Reason for coverage: Leave of absence
* Patient population: Adult/Geriatric
* Case mix: Approximately 80% Hematology / 20% Oncology (no Internal Medicine)
Schedule
* 3 clinic days per week (Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
* Infrequent night call (1:10 rotation)
* Weekend call approximately 2 3 weekends per year
Practice Environment
* 10 physicians and 8 APPs in the practice
* Average daily census:
* Hospital: 10 patients per day
* Outpatient clinic: 15 patients per day
* Level I Trauma Center
* EMR: Epic
* Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 130 days from accepted offer
