We provide high‑quality customer‑focused support to staff and visitors by logging and prioritising requests for assistance via the Estates Helpline, serving as the first point of contact across all Trust sites for both emergency and routine maintenance problems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure helpdesk coverage from 0800 to 1600 Monday to Friday.
• Act as the first point of contact for all sites within the Trust for reporting maintenance problems.
• Handle a wide range of enquiries relating to maintenance/repair problems.
• Communicate effectively, especially when English is not the caller’s first language.
• Remain calm when dealing with abusive, irate or distressed callers.
• Maintain concentration despite frequent interruptions.
