About the Position

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician – Lead Hand to join our Service team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role combines shop and field responsibilities, supporting the Service Manager with day‑to‑day planning, organization, and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily shop and field tasks in collaboration with the Service Manager.
• Perform major diagnostics and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment from multiple manufacturers.
• Lead and mentor apprentices and junior technicians; provide on‑the‑job training and competence analysis.
• Maintain high quality, safety, and customer service standards, ensuring all work follows company policies and procedures.
