Position Summary

Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Willing to relocate to various locations, including hospitals, medical facilities, or clinics.

Responsibilities

• Administer evaluative tests.
• Use equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment.
• Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmold impressions and perform follow‑up examinations and readjustments.
• Follow through on treatment programs with patients.
• Make decisions on tests and procedures.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re‑use according to standardized safety practices.
• Maintain clinical and progress reports.
• Maintain inventory of equipment.
