The Recovery Support Staff plays a vital role in maintaining the daily structure within the community. They are responsible for observing client behavior, reporting progress, and ensuring that all scheduled groups and activities are adhered to.
Responsibilities

+ Monitor and closely supervise all floor and dayroom activities.

+ Facilitate and/or participate in meetings.

+ Communicate all incidents to the supervisor.

+ Provide feedback to primary counselors and other treatment staff when necessary.

+ Collect and handle medical documents when clients return from their appointments and ensure proper filing.

+ Collect medical cards from clients after appointments and ensure all follow-ups are completed.

+ Witness and log client urine screenings and observe and log the readings of the alcohol sensor (Breathalyzer).
