Role Overview

Homecare Assistant / Care Assistant – variable shift patterns available. Shift times include Day Calls (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM), Night Calls (10:00 PM – 08:00 AM) and Waking Nights (just-in-time). The role involves providing person‑centred care for service users with diverse and complex needs, including those with Dementia, within residential homes in Yorkshire.

Shift Patterns

• Day Calls – 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM
• Night Calls – 10:00 PM to 08:00 AM
• Waking Nights – variable/just‑in‑time

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the care role, including mobility assistance and personal care (undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes).
• Assist with meals and ensure proper nutrition of service users.
• Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
