Barnsbury Medical Practice is seeking a Health Care Assistant (HCA) to support the delivery of high-quality primary care services and long-term condition management.

Main duties of the job

The role involves conducting physical health checks, phlebotomy and venepuncture, wound care, ECG recording, patient monitoring, recall and follow‑up activities, and supporting clinicians with procedures. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will contribute to the management of patients with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD, and chronic kidney disease, while helping to ensure excellent patient care and accurate clinical record‑keeping.
