Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role involve supporting patients within the Outpatient setting. You will be required to take their height and weight and chaperone the patient during physical examinations conducted by the clinical nurse specialist and consultants. You will also assist nursing staff with both clinical and administrative tasks, while working under the supervision of a registered nurse. In addition, the Healthcare Assistant helps maintain a safe and clean Outpatient environment by preparing equipment, managing stock, and following infection prevention procedures.
