Job Description
your responsibilities will include:
·Assistance with the management of the Health Information Service including all aspects of medical record management and related activities.
·Timely and accurate clinical coding.
Participate in case mix analysis, education & quality activities
Clinical documentation improvement initiatives
Assist with the timely extraction and submission of mandatory data reporting
Participate in audits as necessary
Essential Requirements:
·Bachelor of Health Information Management and/or Master of Health Information Management or equivalent
·Experience leading and managing staff
·Strong clinical coding with the ability to train and mentor coding staff – current 13th edition.
·Sound understanding of Codefinder & Turbocoder
·Demonstrated experience in the extraction and submission of data to external parties
