Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local and international safety laws.
• Conduct HSE audits and inspections to verify adherence to company standards.
• Prepare and update HSE documentation — safety manuals, emergency response plans, and risk registers.
• Ensure contractors and subcontractors follow site-specific safety requirements.
• Identify potential hazards and unsafe practices in the workplace.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) before operations.
• Recommend and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Keep records of all incidents, injuries, and illnesses for legal and reporting purposes.
