Job Description
ThisroleleadsandmanagestheoptometryserviceintheDepartmentofOphthalmologyandVisualSciences,ensuringsmoothdeliveryofeyecareservicesacrosshospitalandcommunitysettingsinanewhospitalenvironment.Itincludesplanning,dailyoperations,andoverseeingtheclinicalworkofalloptometrystaffwhilemaintaininghighstandardsofpatientcare.Theroleworkscloselywith,andreportsto,theHeadofDepartmentandthePrimaryEyeCareLeadConsultant.
Responsibilities
ClinicalPractice&ServiceManagement
- Provideadvancedclinicaloptometryservicesincludingcomplexrefractions,biometry,andspecializeddiagnosticprocedures
- Overseeclinicalqualityandsafetystandardsacrossalloptometryservices
- EnsureefficientoperationsofSupplementaryPrimaryEyecareClinic(SPEC),Community&HomeEyeScreeningService(CHESS),andDiabeticRetinopathyPhotography(DRP)services
- Maintainclinicalcompetencyinadvancedoptometricproceduresandequipment
