Key Responsibilities

• Align vision and direction for new Junior Programme and conceptualise appropriate instructional initiatives that are in line with the school’s strategic plan and needs of the students.
• Provide professional leadership for the areas‑in‑charge so as to ensure high quality teaching and to improve student outcomes.
• Design and spearhead the implementation of the curriculum of the six learning domains and new initiatives.
• Communicate and lead the new Junior Programme in initiatives and duties that will bring out positive school effectiveness and improvement.
• Communicate with different stakeholders and foster positive and effective collaborations.
• Contribute to the school’s new Junior Programme, strategic planning and review process.
• Set well‑defined department goals, objectives and performance targets.
• Prepare action plans that include schemes of work and deployment of staff.
