Main job function

The head of legal will serve as the lead legal and compliance advisor for the company overseeing all legal, regulatory, licensing and governance matters. Oversee company secretarial matters. Act as the data privacy officer. This role will work closely with Senior Leadership, business units and country management, and external stakeholders to proactively manage legal risk, ensure ethical practices and enable sustainable and strategic growth for the country. This is an individual contributor role, but part of the global legal and compliance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice law and in good standing with hands‑on experience in a Company Secretarial role. Law degree from a recognized university, admission to practice in South Africa with a preferred Company Secretarial Qualification.
