Job Description
Our successful charity runs pathways which focus on Preparation for Adulthood and Skills for Everyday Living to help young people with SEN and learning disabilities to progress to positive destinations, including Adult Social Care, Further Education, Supported Internships, Volunteering or Employment and gain confidence and social support, alongside nationally recognised qualifications.
Person Specification
- Working with young people/ adults with SEN
- Working with young people with learning difficulties
- Knowledge of EHCPs and the EHCP process, including leading annual review meetings
Qualifications
- Achieved or working towards QTS/QTLS/ SENCo qualifications
- Level 3 or above in supporting people with SEN
- GCSE Grade C equivalent or above in English and Maths
- Appropriate Prevent and Safeguarding Training
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
