Head of HR – Mayfair Group

Mayfair Group is looking for a strong, experienced Head of HR to lead and professionalise the HR function across a 300-person, multi-site motor industry business based in Johannesburg.

This is a senior leadership role suited to a proven HR professional who can operate in a hands‑on, high‑performance, blue‑collar environment. We are looking for someone with real depth across HR, IR, recruitment, payroll oversight, compliance, Employment Equity, Skills Development, and BBBEE.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the full HR function across the group
• Managing IR, CCMA matters, and labour risk
• Driving recruitment quality and HR processes
• Overseeing payroll, compliance, and reporting
• Building structure, accountability, and strong HR systems
• Playing a key role in developing an internal training academy
