Job Description
My Local Authority client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented Head of Age Well Commissioning on a Contract basis.
The role leads a commissioning team focused on older and/or frail residents, including physical disabilities.
About the role:
Based in Central London (hybrid):
Contribute to the professional development of the team and co-ordinate the delivery of a complex programme of work centred on core health and care priorities.
Contribute to planning for continuous reduction in health and wellbeing inequalities across the borough in collaboration across the council, the wider health system
Take stock of the current commissioning arrangements and the status of public health-commissioned services, engaging with Public Health Consultants, Heads of Programme, and Policy Officers to develop and implement a commissioning plan for the division
