Graduate SEND Support Assistant

We’re working with welcoming schools across Newcastle who are looking for Graduate SEND Support Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. You don’t need classroom experience, just patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping young people thrive.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
Helping children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn
Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to keep days calm and consistent
Gaining hands-on experience that looks great on future PGCE, psychology, or therapy applications
