Position Summary Graduate Assistants are enrolled students in a La Salle Master’s program, in good standing with the University, who are student employees doing work that is related to their course of study in exchange for compensation and a tuition benefit. The Chief Extern position is the only graduate assistantship available to doctoral students.

For Regular GA positions:

Regular GAs are generally expected to work 20 hours per week

Tuition benefits are 2 courses if working in the fall and 2 courses if working in the spring.

For Half-Time GA positions:

Half-Time GAs are generally expected to work 10 hours per week.

Tuition benefits are 1 course if working in the fall and 1 course if working in the spring.
