**Job Description Summary**
The Government Import Contract Specialist supports GE Aerospace Defense & Systems by preparing and submitting Duty Free Entry Entitlement requests and coordinating Duty Free Certificates in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) for U.S. DoD contracts. This role is highly process-oriented and collaborative, working across Sourcing, Transportation/Logistics, and Contracts to align foreign-sourced supplies to prime contracts and secure duty-free treatment per the DFARS.

A successful candidate for this role will be highly process-oriented and detail-focused, with the ability to manage complex, multi-step import and contract activities with accuracy and consistency.
