The GIS Technician is responsible for performing GIS editing assignments and coordinating the work of other employees. The Technician works in state-of-the-art ESRI GIS systems and related company systems and databases.
_1._ Post all changes to the electric transmission, substation, distribution, and land-base asset records in GIS through work order, system change notices, map markups, field checks and/or any document that reflects a change to the electric system. The primary tools used are Geographical Information System (GIS) and AutoCAD.
