Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a GIS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their team. This will be a 6-month contract, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience and a strong background working with Esri/ArcGIS and Power BI. A GISP certification is required for this role. This individual should come from a technical GIS background but also be comfortable stepping into a leadership role, serving as the team’s go-to expert in the absence of the manager. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting knowledge transfer and upskilling team members, performing hands-on GIS and data visualization work, acting as a subject matter expert for Esri/ArcGIS-related initiatives, providing continuity and knowledge, while management is unavailable.
