Waitematā District is a major provider of healthcare services in North and West Auckland, serving a population of approximately 640,000 people and employing more than 8,400 people.
This is a new consultant role and will be focused on enabling best practice specialist medical care for geriatric patients both in the community and as in-patients directly and through interactions with junior and senior orthopaedic medical staff.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the clinical director of geriatrics to develop and implement a new model of care for older inpatients.
