Overview
As an Intermediate Civil or Geotechnical Engineer, you will work on large‑scale, technically challenging world‑class projects with a leading geoscience, engineering, and environmental consulting firm in Alberta and beyond. The role involves geohazard engineering for highways, dam design and safety, and water design for power generation, irrigation, and mining.
Responsibilities
- Work on highway geohazard projects involving site investigations, ground hazard identification, assessment, and mitigation design, including earth and rock slope design, erosion control, and annual geotechnical instrumentation programs.
- Develop power generation, irrigation, and mining water design, assessment, and risk mitigation projects with hands‑on experience in dams, spillways, dam safety reviews, inspections, instrumentation installation, and related data analysis.
