About Te Awamutu Medical Centre

We are a large general practice serving 14,000 patients with a fantastic collegial team, less than 30 minutes from Waikato Hospital. Our clinic has a multidisciplinary team made up of GPs, Physician Associates, a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Prescriber, Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber, Health Improvement Practitioners and Health Care Assistants, all supported by our wonderful administration team. We also have visiting secondary specialists and we have physio, radiology and a pharmacy onsite and a Pathlab right next door. We run specialised clinics alongside our family medicine and urgent care clinics. We value a work/life balance, and there is the potential for ownership for the right person.
