Doctors must be able to work unsupervised, and all shifts are 24 hours from 0800 to 0800, with flexibility to accommodate travel needs. The on-call role involves providing support for the emergency department and after-hours emergency surgery, including procedures like Caesarean Section, or D & C. Doctors must have the necessary qualifications and expertise to perform the below listed requirements: • Stabilise neonates for transfer which would include the insertion of an IVC in most circumstances, UVC’s and any other requirements requested by the NETS team. • Advanced Life Support of the Newborn as well as Adult. • Perform LSCS as required both booked and Emergency.
