**Job Description**

Cardiac Physician Assistant will support the clinical, quality, and research functions of the cardiology department under the supervision of Board-Certified Cardiologists.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor?s Degree
+ Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant
+ Current certification issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
+ Two years of inpatient medicine or cardiology experience
+ ACLS and BLS certified
+ Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills required
+ EPIC EMR experience is a plus

**Responsibilities**

1. Working with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients across inpatient and outpatient cardiology
2. Assist physicians with consenting patients for cardiac procedures. May assist with cardiac procedures under supervision of a physician.
