GENERAL ENGINEER A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Development and Planning: Determines requirements, reconnaissance, location, and prepares designs, specifications and estimates. Applies a broad knowledge of methods, precedents, and standards to significantly diverse and intense work complexities. Work complexities require not only adaptation or modification of precedents but a versatile and innovative approach to solve problems where serious conflicts exist between management requirements and engineering principles. Performs or directs surveys and investigations to establish baseline data necessary to initiate design.
