Job Title:General AccountantPosition PurposeGeneral Accountant is responsible of assuring, reviewing and reconciliating general ledger (GL) transactions and recordings for US and MX books validating that the recordings and calculations are made accordingly to both countries accounting rules.Primary Accountabilities- Prepares reconciliations of the asset and liabilities balance accounts from current accounting period to last period / year reconciling the General Ledger balances with support documentation.This includes but not limited to accruals, banks and cash, sales, travel, payroll and fixed assets.
- Prepares financial information for US and MX Statutory closing.Stay in constant communication with peers in US corporate office to attend any question and solve small questions arising.Follow up US and MX end of period accounting closure and GL records reviews, updates, reconciliations and changes.
